It’s this shared ethos and appreciation for quality that led us to partner with the brand on the exclusive west~bourne x Montana Labelle Loki Tray to house our avocado oil duo. The Loki Tray is a verde green marble tray—quarried in Italy—with hand-honed curbed edges and nuanced veining that harkens back to the rich hues of the avocado. It’s meant to be used as a vessel for displaying your oils as well as a way to serve up your preferred culinary creations with family and friends.

Montana Labelle is known for its layered, timeless products and interiors. How do you meld the contemporary with the vintage-inspired in what you do and why is that so important?

Our design philosophy focuses on blending contemporary elements with vintage-inspired aesthetics, creating spaces that feel both modern and timeless. Combining contemporary and vintage pieces ensures that the design does not quickly go out of style. Vintage elements add a sense of history and character, while contemporary pieces keep the space fresh and relevant. Vintage items often have unique stories and craftsmanship that cannot be replicated by modern manufacturing. Incorporating these pieces adds depth and personality to a space, making it one-of-a-kind. Our approach results in interiors that feel curated and sophisticated, offering a sense of warmth and timelessness that purely contemporary or entirely vintage designs might lack.

Share more about how the collaboration with west~bourne came to fruition. 

west~bourne had originally reached out to us at the beginning of 2024 to discuss the idea of a collaboration. After meeting, we thought this would be such a good fit and something different to what we usually do here. We were looking to create something unique that has dual functionality. A beautiful marble tray that can have multi purpose use in your kitchen as a tray for the west~bourne avocado oil but also a statement styling piece in your kitchen. 

How did you land on the design details of The Loki Tray? Tell us more about the incorporation of the green verde marble.

The verde green was selected by west~bourne, we have multiple selections of marbles and this was their choice! The design was created specifically to fit the avocado oil bottles to be able to display them on your counter as a piece of art, if you will.

The west~bourne x Montana Labelle Loki Tray is meant to be used to house avocado oil but also to serve or dip—how have you found yourself using it in your everyday life?

Funny enough, as many uses as this can have for your kitchen, we also love to use potentially in a bathroom to hold jewelry or skincare or even your bedside table! We love creating pieces that have many uses.

What do you hope people take away from the collaboration?

We hope that people are excited to see something different and unexpected from two brands who are looking to elevate and push the status quo.
