A Collective Work in Progress: Our 2025 Impact Report

west~bourne is founded with one simple mission: to cure the climate crisis through regenerative food. With a focus on our collective decisions around food and the kitchen, we create products to shift the current paradigm while repairing the relationships between ourselves, our food, and our Earth.
To that effort, our 2025 Impact Report details our commitment to lessening greenhouse gas emissions year-over-year, carbon-capturing regenerative practices, social responsibility initiatives, and a profile of our current certifications, as well as our outlook for the future. In the realm of sustainability, many of us have been trained to focus upon transportation as the leading contributor to carbon emissions when, in fact, the way in which we grow our food has a significantly greater impact. Agriculture is the cornerstone to which we at west~bourne can affect the most change.
Greenhouse gases from CO2, methane, and NO2 are emitted into the atmosphere at points all along the agricultural chain of production. Our supply chain is intensely focused on carbon capture beforeour product arrives to your doorstep.
We're proud to have decreased our emissions to revenue ratio as our business has grown. Additionally, we work to offset 100% of our greenhouse gas emissions by buying and retiring verified carbon and clean energy credits while supporting preservation projects in Northern California.
As a certified USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified brand, west~bourne Organic Avocado Oils are free of exposure to synthetic chemicals (such as glyphosate), chemical fertilizers, and unnatural refining agents. And the entirety of our supply chain is plastic free: fully-recyclable bottles, soy ink printed on tree-free paper, compostable cellulose tamper bands, and recycled/reused shipping boxes.
In sharing our 2025 Impact Report, we invite you to explore the work we've set forth and join us in our efforts aligning functional wellness and soil health. We remain 100% transparent of where and how you receive our rich avocado oil in your hands, including ways in which we aim to improve our stewardship and commitments to regenerative and sustainable practices. This is our journey: a collective work in progress.
