Holiday Recipe: Baby Gem, Arugula, Watercress & Avocado Salad with Soy-Sesame Dressing
In celebration of the season, we collaborated with chef Carly Maltzman, creator of Donabe With Me, for a series of comforting recipes that bring warmth to the table while featuring our avocado oils in inspired new ways.


Baby Gem, Arugula, Watercress & Avocado Salad with Soy-Sesame Dressing
Makes 4 to 6 servings
Ingredients
2 baby gem lettuces, halves
2 cups arugula
1 cup watercress, trimmed
1 avocado, sliced
1 radish, thinly sliced
toasted sesame seeds or furikake, for garnish (optional)
Soy-Sesame Dressing*
Soy-Sesame Dressing
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon tamari
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1/4 cup west~bourne Organic 100% Pure Avocado Oil
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
1 tablespoon white miso paste
1 clove grated garlic
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 teaspoon honey
Whisk or blend together all the dressing ingredients.
Toss baby gem, arugula, and watercress with dressing.
Evenly distribute avocado and radish slices over the top of the salad with a generous sprinkle of sesame seeds and/or furikake. Season avocado slices with flaky salt and serve immediately.
