Recipe: Extra Virgin Avocado Oil Date Ice Cream

The days are hot and cooling down with a delicious, flavor-forward treat is what our summer dreams are made of. If you’re on the hunt for a sweet recipe that is as unique as it is delicious, this date ice cream creation fits the bill with its caramel-y, savory notes.

This no-recipe recipe is straightforward and adds a twist on your standard vanilla ice cream scoop.

Ingredients:

Vanilla ice cream

west~bourne Organic Extra Virgin Avocado Oil

1-2 dates

A pinch of Maldon salt

Method:

Cook dates on high heat in 100% OrganicExtra Virgin Avocado Oil, until they get a little gooey

Add 1-2 scoops of vanilla ice cream to your favorite ice cream bowl

Top ice cream with cooked dates

Finish it off with a drizzle of olive oil + flaky salt
