One Simple Thing: Homemade Salad Dressing
At west~bourne, we’re all about implementing small, sustainable practices that feel doable—not overwhelming. These simple yet impactful changes help us create a more low-touch lifestyle that seamlessly fits into our everyday routines. And one simple thing we love? Making our own salad dressing.
While it's certainly easy to grab a pre-made salad dressing when grocery shopping, creating your own at home is not only a breeze, but it gives you control over the ingredients, reduces preservatives, and allows you to tailor flavor to fit your needs. Plus, making a batch for the week, so you can use as needed, is helpful. It's also much healthier than store bought—no additives or high sugar. Below, you’ll find our favorite to-go for creating a tasty, made-in-less-than-five-minutes salad dressing that uses our avocado oil as the base.
